Go Energy Pvt Ltd is embarking on an ambitious project to launch a 500 MW floating solar power plant on Keenjhar Lake, Sindh. This innovative initiative aims to deliver clean, renewable energy to K-Electric through the Sindh Transmission and Dispatch Company's (STDC) infrastructure.
The STDC is collaborating with private enterprises to bolster the region's energy framework. In addition to the floating solar project, an MoU has been signed for a 600 MW transmission line involving the Gul Ahmed Group, which will contribute 100 MW of power through their respective renewable energy ventures.
These projects represent significant strides toward sustainable energy solutions in Sindh, enhancing both the reliability and efficiency of the electricity supply. This move also underscores a broader commitment to renewable energy sources within the region.
Moreover, the establishment of the Sindh Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (SEPRA) emphasizes ongoing efforts to maintain affordable electricity rates. SEPRA will oversee procurement processes, ensuring transparency and cost-efficiency in the sector.
These developments collectively highlight a strong push towards renewable energy and improved transmission networks, promising a cleaner and more stable power supply for the area. For more details, visit the original article on Startup Pakistan
